the Mikkeller Reconciliation program
We are pleased to announce that Mikkeller has engaged Hand & Heart Consulting (H&H), led by Kate Bailey, to conduct and implement a Reconciliation Program. Over the past months, we have executed on many steps in our Action Plan to make sure our workplace is safe, positive and inspiring for our team. The all-important next step is reconciliation with former and current employees who have had bad experiences in our workplaces. We take this responsibility very seriously and we reiterate our sincere apology to each and every individual impacted.
Kate and H&H will act as an External Reconciliation Advisor. In this role, Kate and her team will manage a reconciliation framework to make things right with those affected in our workplaces.
H&H will conduct the Reconciliation Program ensuring all current and former employees are able to confidentially register cases (with third party objectivity) and that the reconciliation is provided in the fairest way possible. This process is completely independent of Mikkeller. H&H is now the contact for former & current employees for any inquiries regarding this Reconciliation Program. Mikkeller’s HR channels will remain the main point of contact for employee communication and reporting regarding the overall process and Action Plan. Full details, a comprehensive FAQ regarding this process, and a form to register a case can be found via this link. It is our goal that alongside this process, we continue to learn and implement new practices to ensure Mikkeller is a best-in-class work place.
We also want to take this chance to include a note from our founder and former CEO, Mikkel:
I acknowledge, with sadness, the experiences we have come to know about Mikkeller´s workplaces during my time as CEO. I take responsibility for that, and I am sorry to each and every person impacted. The new Mikkeller leadership will be driving the changes that are needed, including the Reconciliation Program announced today.
We will continue the important work of ensuring we learn and improve as an organization and will keep you all updated as we do. We are more inspired than ever to be the best work place we can be and also be a leading positive voice in our beloved craft beer community.
Here is to a healthy and happy 2022 for all.
